Sailing the Sky
Sailing the sky
we’ll let the world pass us by
Not worrying about tomorrow
or the left behind lies.
We’ll fly around the stars
like young ones we’ll go
Not worrying how fast or
how slow we row
Looking down on the world
Cities standing and suburbs still
We’ll watch as they move
since there’s more time to kill
No more doubting
for the world only knows
we don’t have to worry
about life’s high’s or low’s.
I wrote these lyrics awhile ago. I worte them out of curiosity, to see if I can come up with four stanzas that actually make sense.
